Grandfather smoked winstons and drank whiskey until he died at age 83. Not a centenarian by any stretch... but still just a tad longer than average. He wasn't obese. Happened in my mid-twenties. Other grandfather died at like 62. So young, I hardly even remember the guy. I was maybe 7 or 8 at that time. Same story, but he was obese.

Mick Jagger and Keith Richards are both still alive, both 78 years old right now. Go watch a Stones documentary then try to explain how the hell this 'still alive' shit is true today.

Go forth and abuse your body with substances, it can apparently take it. Just don't be fat, that's the REAL killer.

Edit: I just condoned drugs and now I'm taking that back. Don't do drugs, son.

I have family that died in their early 40s from alcohol, some friends parents died in their late 30s from drugs and obese family alive in their 90s. I personally know 1000s of old obese men with big beer guts who drink way too much 3-5 times a week and they're a live.

What I'm trying to say is it will vary from person to person and none of them are healthy. I'd say jew juice is by and far the worst, but nobody should be fat or do heavy drugs.

When I drank booze, I took it a bit to the extreme. Not like my grandfathers. If I hadn't quit, it could have been me dead at 50 with liver problems. When I say extreme, I mean I'd sit there and kill a pint of whiskey in one sitting, then get up and walk a straight line. Only reason I'm probably alive now is no sign at all of obesity.

I know, but Jerry Garcia died the moment he got sober.

(Actually irl I pretty much stopped drinking)
