Really now, crypto has none of these issues. Basically anonymous donations, no ability to freeze them.

But they can make certain crypto coins less valuable than others by blacklisting their ability to be exchanged for cash legally. Cryptocoins have what is effectively a serial number.

Yeah, that's a big vulnerability. Crypto transactions being irreversible is a valuable feature, but being able to invalidate money is like reversing a transaction.

So would simply not providing your name whenever it is optional would have solved the third party attacker issue just fine. State level action is still a different story, however.
