Russia has recognized the sovereignty of the two republics and has moved peace keepers into these republics as asked by their leaders and representatives.
Kosovo: The USA and England and I think France recognized Kosovo as a county against UN charter but did it anyway and moved troops/peacekeepers in after they bombed the shit out of Belgrade for seventy two days or some shit.
Turkey invades Cypress and establishes an enclave but the UN and Nato don't give a shit till this day, that is stolen Greek land.
