All of the old bands I grew up listening to, naively thinking that they were all "anti-death machine" or whatever, all of them.. They've all gone to the "just get clotshot or die" mentality.

Yep, that's how it goes. Rage Against the Machine is probably the most hilarious example, given their name and the subject nature of their older songs- fighting against "the man", maaaan. Now they're tweeting "If you don't obey the man, you're an asshole and you can't come to my show". The fuck? Who are you, again? I know you don't have to believe in all of the shit you say in a song you wrote- people write songs about murdering people or w/e, doesn't mean they approve of murder...

But if you're faking like you're living that shit, and duping people into making you millions of dollars, you're a fucking shithead and the supporters who "relate to your music" should be pissed.
