If I run out of food, I will resort to eating the flesh of my enemies.
Local grocery store had a deal on 80/20 beef last week, 3lb packs at $3 per lb. Grabbed a bunch of packs to throw a cookout this year for the 4th. Lowest price I've seen in months.
Could be the start of beef shortages. No feed for cattle -> farmers sell off entire herds -> supply goes up -> prices go down -> supply disappears -> prices go way up
hamburger is the only beef I have eaten in a while, been chicken, chicken, chicken.
Chicken will probably go up with them culling due to bird flu
I havent bought beef in over a decade. Aside from some gas station jerky when im on the road. But none for cooking at home.
20 percent fat? Fuck bro. Go to a real butcher and get some 90/10.
Which is precisely what I would use if I was using it for chili instead of grilling burgers
Lol I make burgers from 90/10 all the time. They taste great. One package of Dry onion soup mix and some flaked onion and an egg. mmmmm
What? 70/30....JFC stop acting like eating fat is bad
I never said it was bad. It's just boorish.
Apparently this is a link, but it leads back to poal, it's not coming up correctly so is unreadsble
goddam. Here is link: https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2022/04/will-biden-food-shortages-arrive/
people reading and especially believing anything from this trash tabloid website are nigger-tier retards. stop reading this jewish clickbait trash.
Lol sending grains to resource rich Africa is a Joe bidet move for sure.
I can see processed, imported, and plant based foods going up in price but I can't see the same happening for local animal foods unless there is a deliberate political campaign to put farmers out of business. Perhaps in the USA this could happen but I just don't see it in Europe. We are too localised and attached to local farms, we don't have the same huge supply chains as the USA and we don't use anywhere near as much chemical fertiliser.
Please find a local butcher. Chicken in my area is around $5 a lb and $2 at the butcher. Steaks are a little expensive there but the cuts are fantastic.
Gay way pundit, really?
There's not a single fact in that article. It's an op-ed with nothing but conjecture.
Oh come on, the part about the FDA and CDC lowering the RDA for foods made it 100% believable! /s
you mean like every single ones of their articles? shoking!
So we'll save even more than those few cents last year! Because we'll just starve instead!
I've been stocking up on canned goods for a few months now. I opine the shortage will be geared to the highest bidder. may as well get it now at a cheaper price than wait until the price is 6-8 times the original price. All the Democrats need is their base dying from starvation. They can't punish us unless they punish their base as well. Theft is always an option when dealing with thieves.
