Local grocery store had a deal on 80/20 beef last week, 3lb packs at $3 per lb. Grabbed a bunch of packs to throw a cookout this year for the 4th. Lowest price I've seen in months.
Could be the start of beef shortages. No feed for cattle -> farmers sell off entire herds -> supply goes up -> prices go down -> supply disappears -> prices go way up
hamburger is the only beef I have eaten in a while, been chicken, chicken, chicken.
Chicken will probably go up with them culling due to bird flu
I havent bought beef in over a decade. Aside from some gas station jerky when im on the road. But none for cooking at home.
20 percent fat? Fuck bro. Go to a real butcher and get some 90/10.
Which is precisely what I would use if I was using it for chili instead of grilling burgers
Lol I make burgers from 90/10 all the time. They taste great. One package of Dry onion soup mix and some flaked onion and an egg. mmmmm
What? 70/30....JFC stop acting like eating fat is bad
I never said it was bad. It's just boorish.
