According to the CDC, "It's not clear how people in those clusters were exposed to monkeypox but cases include individuals who self-identify as men who have sex with men."

Monkeypox infection rate is R0=2 / compared to the original wuhan variant with an R0= 1-1.6. MPX incubation period is about 3 wks with similar early symptoms to civd, so it will be hard to spot the cases at first.. If the person in Mass. gave it to 2, and the next day 4 got it... After 21 days you have 4,194,304 cases
