Does anybody know why the closed captions right after the time stamp posted below would be different from what the news reporter says? The captions talk about the community having issues with immigration but the prompt reader goes on about Sandy Hook.

I want to see some Republicans tell Democrats they'll consider gun legislation, but only if the legislation contains a provision that if it doesn't stop the next school shooting the legislation is automatically repealed and no other similar legislation can ever be enacted.
