"Rumor mill" watches too many Hollywood movies. If a drug dealer wants money, he doesn't wait for the wife to go jogging where there is the possibility of witnesses or cameras. He just breaks into their house and threatens or kills them. And if they are rich, they don't get their drugs on credit, they pay cash. This was just an impulsive "muh dick" event.
