Never forget Trump did nothing to help him. Yet he aided Trump.

Actions (and inactions) speak louder than words.

There are many people along our own paths that need our help and are within our ability to do so. How long would it be before it became a detriment to your own pursuits. Do you yourself honestly help everyone you know to be in need?

First comment on Julian Assange is blame Trump. Of all the people who fucked over Julian Assange, you think Trump is the most relevant? Not the people who are illegally detaining him, not the people illegally prosecuting him. Not the people who are doing the action of fucking Julian Assange over. It's especially funny considering Trump is tied up by the same corrupt people in the same corrupt courts as Julian Assange, not literally the same courts. So again, why is your ire at Trump? He could've done something, sure. How many other things did he do while being attacked for everything. He was impeached for a phone call asking about Ukraine. Yet you want him to dive head first into Julian Assange? Like him or hate him, strategically from any perspective, this would be an ultimately insignificant hill to die on for Trump. There are dozens of people who can help Assange but don't, where is your ire for them?

I agree that Trump did not have jurisdiction to help Assange. Yet he is blamed by his own disloyal followers. I have other complaints about Trump, but certainly not this one.

Trump could have written blanket pardons for Assange and Snowden at any time during his presidency. He did nothing.

Trump did have 4 years to do something, anything. I kept thinking Snowden and Assange would be vindicated, but nothing happened. Trump surrounded himself with the dream team of military advisers, which turned out to be nightmarish as hell. Who knew Mattis, Kelly and McMaster could be such bastards.

I still believe that Trump did not have jurisdiction to help Assange. Please prove me wrong.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Trump ends up like Assange; a man without a country. If Trump couldn’t pardon him (before walking out the door) since I don’t think he’s been charged and tried, at least he could have exposed the truth of Assange’s bravery and integrity.
