Lester (the defendant) is shown to not have been the last to touch the exterior door handle via this statement. An attempt at entry and fear are required to justify this and both seem to be present. There are a few exemptions such as the person attempting to enter having been invited over which no one is claiming. If the justice system functions this guy should walk as long as the print on the door handle matches up with the "youth's". It'll be drama and politicized BS and lives will probably be lost as the activists make a scene.
