I’m not even saying I’m “for war”. I’m saying IF we’re going to go to war, it makes much more sense to go to war in a place that actually benefits us and actually does make our country a safer place.
War itself would be hellish for the Mexicans, but in the long run it would provide them a safer country, too. Of course, that’s assuming that such a war were successful and we actually fought to win.
And btw, there are Mexicans who agree with me on this. There are Mexicans who don’t want the cartels and who realize that their government isn’t helping.
Also, I was born in and still live in Texas. I’ve had to watch the degradation of my own homeland over time as a direct result of the bullshit happening in Mexico (and the fact that our establishment politicians are complete pieces of shit). So, fuck you. My opinion is 1000% justified.
