My in-laws church has a trained "reaction team". They are all heavily armed and rotate around the building. All doors are monitored and/or locked during church events/mass. There have been a few "incidents" where some sketchy fucker saw that everyone was armed and left but yeah....

Ruger Super GP100 in .357 magnum. It's a certified target pistol revolver and has 8 rounds in the cylinder.

Can also be loaded with 38 special.
