I donno, but if you look North of Plum Island, it is right next to Old Lyme, Connecticut, which is where Lyme Disease was first identified, and Plum Island happened to be doing a lot of tick research prior to it emerging.

It sucked the 1st time. The little bugger was locked on right where a guy wouldn't want. Very sick for a month, 3 months on antibiotics. I swear I still have complications from it.
