I remember her explaining progressive newspeak phrases on Fox, craziest stuff I'd ever heard at the time. She seemed like a likeable nut job in the beginning, at least she wasn't filled with vitriol and hate. So she gets hard up for money, instead of moving back to moms house and helping her make the best of her twilight years, she tricks mom out of the house, dumps her off in a care facility and steals her money.
