Oh look, somebody finally made it to the 3rd grade and discovered homonyms, then made up some bullshit about oppression.
"You've heard of the phrase "that strikes a chord", which means an appeal which causes people to approve of it or agree with it. What it really means is to "strike a cord", or to ready the lynching noose for all the black people to be murdered that weekend. For "striking a cord" was a favorite Saturday evening pasttime in early America and everyone enthusiastically approved, and therefore started the phrase, "to strike a cord."
See, made up bullshit is easy.
