Yeah, that would piss me off too. Ask. I have swapped seats with people before because they asked politely. Your lack of planning ahead and making sure you can buy seats together does not mean I should be expected to just accept that you want my seat. Act like a dick, get treated like one. Act like a civil polite person and you know what? I would probably have zero problem with swapping a seat with you.

I'd be pissed too if I paid for an aisle seat (and I do because I'm 6' 4") and someone sat their brat in it. You want the kid next to you? Select seats next to each other. If you're booking late and you can't? Well, that's your fault.

Yeah man, I am taller than average. I pick seats based on this and pay extra for it. If someone is very polite and the seat they want to "swap" I have no problems with it. If they just expect it?

Well screw you. I work hard and I plan ahead for everything. Maybe you should try doing that too rather than just thinking I will be a cuck and let you just walk all over me.
