This "Hunter-Gatherers Ravaged The Environment. Industrialization Saved It."
Is the title of the article
I don't need to read it beyond the title to see a gigantic bs
So I evidently don't need to read the rest, because it's literally utter shit, from the beginning
Industrialization did many things, saving the environment isn't one of them, period
And hunter gatherers, have never EVER been a threat to their environment
As a matter of fact there isn't a more eco friendly way to live than that https://www.thebigraise.fr/wp-content/uploads/2017/10/Ju-Hoansi-bushmen-1280x640.jpg
However, this http://theamericanenergynews.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/China-pollution.jpeg
Is an absolute disaster for the environment, a disaster the hunter gatherers pictured above are in no way capable to achieve, not even able to come close to it, for obvious reasons
Industrilaization pollutes, period, and massively, it destroys entire echo systems
Hunter gatherers... They hunt, eat, and shit
They don't build mega cities, which are all an environmental disaster btw, even the cleanest
Well if you did read it you would see that, yes the title is shit, but it also has nothing to do with what the article is talking about.
It's about the move from HG to agrarian societies.
I don't think they ever cover industrialization in a form other than farming, and the benefits that were gained from it. Those were extended both to humans and the environments they lived in.
Ho so now I should read articles with bulshit titles... And click on clickbaits too, while I'm at it?
Industrialization is massively destroying the environment, to this day, always have. There's no "but but but my title is bulshit but but but"
No
It's shit period
And hunter gatherers... hahahaha please, let's blame shitting birds while we're at it
Yes, and I agree with you, as I have since the beginning. Exactly why I said it was a tough point to argue. The opinion is not my own but he does bring up both legitimate and interesting points.
Sometimes a bullshit title can be placed on something worth a read. It might say "Cook Book" on the front, but you might learn how to make a damn good meal if you read it instead of just throwing it in the oven.
