I would suggest secession and war. Once the mid-West leaves they can claim their borders are being threatened by sanctuary states and move in against them. They're filled to the brim with pathetic vagabonds and their vagabond masters. They aren't a match. Occupy their territory and start mass deportations and then restore the union when the country is 90% European again.
