Chuck Norris is a literal God compared to Bruce Lee. Here are his credentials;

10th degree black belt, Chun Kuk Do 9th degree black belt Tang Soo Do 8th degree black belt Taekwondo 8th degree black belt Kyokushin Budokai 5th degree black belt in Karate 3rd degree black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Black belt in Judo

He is also a six-time undefeated World Professional Middleweight Karate Champion. He was undefeated for a decade.

Steven Segal is a 7th-dan black belt in aikido, he began his adult life as a martial arts instructor in Japan, becoming the first foreigner to operate an aikido dojo in the country.

Jean Claude Van Damme was actually a very accomplished kickboxer. Damme holds a 2nd-degree black belt in Karate and had a surprising full carer in Kickboxing. Van Damm had a 44-4 record in Karate and an 18-1 record in Kickboxing. all 18 wins by knockout.

Bruce Lee was a great martial artist but he was not a fighter. The only evidence that he ever even sparred is one video online where his opponent is clearly not fighting back and flopping around. The legend of Bruce Lee is manufactured and so undeserved, it shows such great disrespect to real fighters.

Steven Seagal is just as accomplished as Bruce Lee. Chuck Norris along with Jean-Claude Van Damme have a way more legitimate martial arts history. You cannot even compare Bruce Lee to Jean-Claude Van Damme and particularly Chuck Norris.

how is holding someones wrist and asking them to roll over for you in any way a useful tool.

cos pretty fucking sure muggers arent going to know in advance to flip themselves around if you manage to even get near their wrist.

also

how does someone lying on their back help you. if youre within arms reach youve now got at least 4 limbs to defend yourself against.

I'm no aikido expert; I'm going by the video. What good is a martial artist in any form against a man with a gun?
