They’re Catholics of the Santa Muerte persuasion. If they actually believe in anything, it is Holy Death. They’re still suffering the cross generational trauma from the Mayan empire’s atrocities, let alone the Catholic Church’s abuses. Jews aren’t likely to show up on their radar.

I live and work in an area with a large legal and illegal Mexican and central American population. There are some criminals but to a large extent they support many conservative beliefs and their only support for the dims is based on welfare programs. They usually work hard, support family values, and if treated with respect by conservatives, usually have a lot more in common with them than with the antifa crowd. They are ours for the taking if we start engaging appropriately. Invite a roofer to the range! (Remembering it's illegal for certain immigration statuses to handle a firearm.)

"Easiest"

I prefer using the death penalty for illegal crossing and visa over stays.

We can pay for the program using asset seizure forfeiture of everything they purchased or gained as a result of illegally working.

Well sure, taxing the remissions they send back at 75-80% is the easiest way to make them Republicans. A new remissions tax should have gone without saying. We needed a Democratic controlled congress to pull off a new tax creation.
