Now that the Taliban will likely become the defacto government of Afghanistan over most of its regions at least it would be very odd for us to partner with them or for them to want to partner with us. Also it would be very unlikely for them to partner with Iran over the whole Sunni/Shia thing. Seeing this vacuum of affiliation with a world power China is eyeing another route for their expansion of economic affiliation.

Why would partnering with them be counter to the Taliban vision? Because all economic expansion becomes sovereign expansion because governments like to control the economic details of things that effect them. Therefore regulation and control of it economic space becomes inevitable. It's practically the whole point of the state creature, when you ignore more romantic visions of its purpose. This is especially true of a less principled government such as China who is unlikely to see value in recognizing independence when it is inconvenient to do so. If the Taliban associate with China they will eventually end up under Chinese sovereignty, and we can see how the Chinese treat muslims, especially muslim fundamentalists in areas they control. Keep in mind that the Uygers have 1:100th the terrorist instincts than the Taliban. This may even occur before any official recognition of Chinese power exists knowing how strong willed the Taliban are. The difference is that China doesn't try to compete with differing values the way the US does, with trying to promote a vision they think is better. They simply try to exterminate any group that is annoying to them. And the Taliban would be annoying in an economic space that effects the Chinese if the Taliban allows Afghanistan to be a part of a Chinese economic space.

You cannot associate with the Chinese and maintain independence. Hell, you can't even associate with us and maintain independence in its truest form, and China is 5x worse and 10x less patient, having no pretended values of independence to encourage them to put up with this or that differing view in how the world should work.

If the Taliban side with China eventually the Taliban vision will be dissolved or they will find themselves at war again but with China in an effort to regain independence. If I were the Taliban, and I'm not, but was trying to seek Taliban values (Monarchy + Sharia-fundementalism + anti-communism), I would probably go it alone. We'll see if they are smart enough to recognize that economic association comes with a catch, whether us, China, or Russia, but especially China.

Maybe, only time will tell

it is a fact that USA has made a huge mess, so USA should just go back and deal with itself

it is a fact that women, liberal women, praise islam, allowing islam to expand and conquer nations

at the moment, forget what cina will do, focus on the two above

unless you are a paid shill

You're saying we should go back? Yeah, no.

I have a feeling Islam has enough will to expand on its own without the praise of a few women in the west. What a few women think is one of the smaller factors at play.

What China will do in the immediate directly impacts your concerns. They will give funding to a regime that likely has a vendetta against us for the last 20 years of fighting and might attack us. Chinese association with them is not some non-issue.

No. I won't just focus on two narrow things. I actually take an interest in the world and hope to understand it. I'm not going to relegate myself to only two interests (the ones you happen to be most interested in), lest I'm a shill.

In fact that's a note shill tactic in shill manuals. Tell people to focus on this instead of that, instead of everything. Then also call them a shill once they hit on a subject you are paid to mind. Maybe it's the other way around.

Yeah, sorry, I realize that a word is missing in what I wrote,

it is a fact that USA has made a huge mess, so USA should just go back home and deal with itself

I was just pointing out some real facts, events, instead of future possibilities

Also, I value free speech above everything, that is the possibility to say anything and NOT being censored

So, yes, what you wrote is what you think, ok, we have now some different viewpoint on the same events, happens

We may change out viewpoint in the future, who knows

Have a nice day
