GPT-3 has been around for over a year. How come our enemy hasn't embraced it yet? Is it taking them time to build the bot infrastructure that uses it?
Also.. a thought. If the GPT-3 bots are imperfect then people will sniff them out--they only need to slip up once. But if they are so good that they can't be distinguished by their writing style alone, then we can tell them apart by the contents of their posts, like what AOU does here.
And if the bots are made to blend in, I guess they'll just decrease the s/n ratio without being detectable...
Its timing. It will be relentless and significant 4 months before 2022 midterms and then ongoing forever.
GPT-3 is already lightly used in testing by Jews now on ALL SOCIAL MEDIA SITES, and fools half of people of IQ 94 this month.

Interesting. His replies are written like a mix of a high school student essay and an encyclopedia entry. Reading just one of his posts it's not obvious that it was crafted by an AI. Even after reading a dozen of them, a lingering doubt remains that it could be a human with a pedantic writing style.
Though one really has to be out of touch with what people think to make this comment in response to "Dear redditors, what story can you tell which won't let anyone sleep at night ?":
