A remarkably small percentage of homeless people are just down on their luck. The vast majority are either addicts, mentally unstable, or voluntarily homeless. And on top of that, I’d bet all three of those groups would be exponentially more likely to be willing to accept money to get injected with something than someone who was in your situation
