Despite the fact it is not in *my own* nation's best interests, despite the fact Russia donates to the left here, and is thus our enemy, I admire them. Maybe its just reaction formation in the end, but I'll tell you what. They defend their people. Their leadership is ruthless. Putin and his cadre, I will not say are *good people*. No country's leadership is. If we simplified it, they are likely *very bad* people, *But*, while their leadership are not good people, putin is a good *man*, in the most important sense of the word there ever will be. Every good man uses whats in him, to draw a protective boundary around his own, and put apprehension into all those who would cross it. And he has acted continuously, for decades, to not only thwart, but go after, within his power, those *worse* than him. The russians have acted to protect their nation against those *worse* than them. And that is the **very best** that can be demanded and expected of bad men. They have done their dirty work admirably, and for the right reasons, even if those reasons are also selfish. There is no pretending either spycraft, nor warfare, are good, or noble. They are the works of evil men. And they have, in every respect, done it to protect their own saying with subtle mirth "come and try to take us, you fools." They have fought by hook *and crook* to protect and *expand* their national and demographic interest. To preserve their culture where possible. And of the russian people, I see them for what they are. Even while being a lot of drunks, they are, if not sober, a *serious* nation. They take their culture seriously. They have preserved both literature, and other works, and the respect of these things. Their architecture is to be admired, as well as their musicians, and writers, and engineering. Their folk wisdom, their wit, their appreciation of *others* cultures even. They are both a nation of gentlemen, and bastards. Through the genocidal global push of mass migration and mass integration, they have remained, mostly russian. Through the destruction of cultures and traditions, they have remained, mostly russian. Through the annihilation of national boundaries, national identity, and national memory, they have remained, mostly russian. In all things they have stayed, essentially russian. More than anything they have *endured*, first the *butchery* of communism forced upon them, and then the *depravity* of the modern world--and they have done this with class. In russia, stands churchs made of wood, centuries old, unperturbed by vain and stupid cultural parasites attempting to destroy it under the excuse of 'real estate development'. In russia stands obscure religions, existing by live and let live, undisturbed by authorities that dont need to eliminate every threat, unlike waco in the u.s. In russia stands the orthodoxy, that through a thousand years of falling away, and a dark bloody century, bloomed like a rose in the middle of a corpse filled frozen wasteland. They have preserved the roles of men and women, the institution of marriage, the *spiritual sobriety* of their people (while constantly inebriated no less!), and the integrity of their people despite the inhumane and monstrous indignities of communism. No greater a deserving nation have I laid witness to, for God's grace and blessing, than Russia and the Russian people, who have all along endured and rebuilt through every disaster. In all the worst of their leadership, whatever they have done to survive so far, I say this with sincerity, that Russia remains, like the america of the 1700 and 1800s, *a beacon of light for reason, and a great hope and example for all the world*, a nation worth struggling for. May the u.s. efforts in ukraine utterly fail, and god rebuke this nation for all her miserable godless treacheries against the world. *Russia shall endure, and God be with them*.
