Germans lost the moral victory after the war when the jews got to walk all over them and make them beg for forgiveness. After the war the jews were free to infiltrate any part of the German government they wanted. Maybe I'm a little hopelessly lost in Christian lore, but it does feel like the end of days. We certainly have the means to manually destroy the earth or make it all into a paradise. I would not be the least bit shocked if Jesus came down from a cloud and fulfilled the prophecies from the book of Revelation. Wonder if the rapture is a thing, you think everyone who's a true believer will get sucked up to the heavens? Seems like the time of Jesus's return is when he would need his followers the most.
I believe all humans must die, lose consciousness and then rot in the ground or sit as ashes.
If there is a rapture the remainder of people will die and then the ones who have been gone for millions, thousands, years, months, weeks, even days after death will revive somewhere and we will never even know anyways if we are dead for infinity.
