David Feil, 49, was arrested Monday on a warrant for two counts of sexual assault on a child by one in a position of trust, a Class 3 felony, according to court records. Feil was hired by the Douglas County School District in 2014 as an educational assistant at Pine Lane Elementary School, said Paula Hans, a spokesperson for the school district. Feil stayed in that position for one year before becoming a short-term substitute teacher at various locations across the district. He was hired at Roxborough Intermediate School near Littleton in 2015 as an educational assistant, became a classroom teacher at that school in 2017 and has remained there since, she said.
