A week ago a 9yr old girl went missing and set our community in a panic. Shockingly, RCMP didn’t even issue an amber alert. People were forced to just go out walking the streets on thier own. She was found alive a few hours later, but unfortunately not unscathed.
He’s been arrested for kidnapping, with more charges pending regarding the worst you can imagine, and doing it all in front of another child.
This is death penalty worthy but I have a sick feeling in today’s Canada if convicted David may get therapy and enjoy house arrest, while the RCMP who decided not to take action will get a promotion and a raise
IMO, These crimes continue to occur because the penalties aren’t severe enough. At times quietly condoned in public space under the guise of inclusivity or identity. Our justice system seems Focused on political persecution, rather than criminal punishment. Canada has become a predator’s playground.
Public pressure is needed to make sure if found guilty, David pays the price.
