I could be visiting Western Pennsylvania in the coming months and I wonder if there is anything worth checking out. I likely wouldn't stray too far from the Pittsburgh area, though Northwest PA looks really pretty.

There is a good pub in town. Guiness, and corned beef quesadillas. The bus tour of the battlefield is good.

Shit I used to live in that area and I'm struggling to think of things to do. Oilguy has good suggestions. There are some decent hiking options but it will probably be too cold for that. The city itself is a fucking cesspit. Don't stay after dark because the police stations literally close LOL.

There's an IKEA by the airport if you need some cheap furniture.

Drive through Homewood or Braddock to remind yourself of why you hate niggers.

Racoon Creek State Park, Ohiopyle State Park, Fallingwater. (The last two are near each other.) Go see Pittsburgh from the top of Mount Washington, ride the Incline for shiggles.
