A follow on to my cross pics in @ChristoDeFetus 's post here the other day. Reinstallation was delayed by a day due to wind, but they got it done yesterday. 130 foot lift/crane required.

Steeples are crazy. Builders are probably like, I think it's steep enough, architect says he needs more steep.
Cross looks good up there. Hopefully it stays up another hundred years before it gets a refinishing again.

It was last worked on in 1922 - per their spotty records. 100 years seems to be the going rate!
