After looking up the word law, it reminded me of a story my dad used to say. All the fucking time. Kind of annoying. But if you never heard it before, you may appreciate it. Back in the old Roman days, the story goes, maybe a marble sculpter, marble man dude would sell marble, but if was cracked, some would fill the gaps with wax, to fool an unsuspecting buyer. So people would ask, is there any wax? Latin would be Sin Cerrus? without wax. spanish would be sin cera...and that is where the word sincere comes from...
