The boiling frogs experiment is actually one that is often mis portrayed. The frogs in said experiment had their brains removed before the experiment began.
Discussion is a good way to start and action, how would you know what to do if you didn't discuss it first? Example, if you wanted to get rid of people who didn't believe American values are the best values, wheres the line? How do you identify who does and doesn't? I'd be willing to bet it isn't an easy task but working out those kind of details are pretty critical to success.
Discussion is fine and good.
There comes a time though when you're just masturbating yourself to death. Literally.
While I'd agree with you too an extent, discussion is kind of my thing. I run a platform for free speech, and I do a podcast every week for free speech. I can't fight every battle, and I chose this one.
