About 12-14 hours ago the 'block' button ceased functioning. I've tried activating it on profiles in several browsers and performed various troubleshooting attempts but I cannot get it to function again.

If I can please be informed whether this is only for me and not a site-wide issue I would appreciate it so that I can continue working to try to find the local cause.

Check your blocked users page (link in your user profile's sidebar) and read the message at the top.

Apologies, but one more thing. It states "up to 10" ...but I have 20. I think there may be an error in either the number displayed (10) being incorrect, or the maximum being double what it should be.

We updated to 20 and I probably forgot to update that text.

Thank you. I had not seen any reason to view my blocked users page as I had no intention of unblocking any of those who I have blocked. There being a limit and it being so low a number is quite unexpected as I haven't encountered blocked users being limited elsewhere before.

This is disappointing, but I do thank you very much for directing me to this information so I can cease trying to solve the issue locally.

Unfortunately hosting isn't free and filtering is costly in resources.

I completely understand. I appreciate being able to block any at all. I will be more selective on whose posts are most irritating to me and work to improve my ability to ignore those of a lesser annoyance. Thank you.

Can’t downvote the problem posters away. Can’t block more than twenty of them. Guess they were right when they said Goats wouldn’t last long on Poal. Life’s too short to waste it hearing the voices of morons.
