Edit: Apparently it is now showing a different sub to search at random as now it is saying to search "" while I am on the Poaldev page. Shouldn't it always show the sub name of the sub page you are currently on, so that you can search this relevant sub instead of some random sub? I don't understand how Search randomizing the sub that will be searched can be of any use at all.

Hitting the Search magnifying lens button while in a sub pops up a box that says "Search posts in " regardless of the sub page I am on.

I wanted to search Poaldev for "negative subscribers" as I saw Poaldev has "-4 subscriber" currently and I wanted to see if it was already reported or mentioned here. Then I saw that I am apparently only able to search for posts in the QStorm sub from the Poaldev page. I tried going to other subs and all of them also showed the same "Search posts in QStorm" default text.

I thought maybe it was a textual bug and that it would properly search within the sub page I am on, but I ran a search for "negative subscribers" and it took me to the results page with zero results found for that term in the QStorm sub. It would seem it is not a search box default text issue and the search function actually is restricted to only searching that sub and not the one you are on.

Can you amend /qstorm to /poaldev within the search? Not ideal, but a possible work around. I think it would be helpful to easily be able to search either the board you are on or the whole of poal, possibly giving a choice in the search results. I haven't investigated or much thought it through.

I suppose you found the negative subscribers on the StreisandEffect board?
