I'm on a kindle fire running their silk browser.

If I go to the "new" page on any POAL sub, the pencil/post icon is not displayed. The hotspot is still there, I can click the area where the pencil should be and get the post dropdown window and post.

This may have occurred when the POAL New Years header image was released? I didn't notice the issue early this morning. The missing pencil seems to have started within the past 4-5 hours, since I was posting earlier.

The pencil icon is visible in this "submit a text post" tool header display as I type this, but will be gone when I return to the "new" page.

Any ideas?

More observations ... I've found that all HOT, NEW, TOP pages are all missing the pencil icon today as it is missing in this comment page I'm replying with now. Missing as I type this reply. Hotspot still works properly though, so I'm not disabled from posting.

The POAL header image changed from "Merry Christmas" (pencil icon was displayed properly) to "Happy New Year" yesterday (pencil icon disappears in NEW page, all subs, not absolutely sure if I tested HOT and TOP pages) to "Truth will Always Prevail" today (pencil icon now disappeared in all pages, subs). That is the only other obvious change I can see, if there is any connection.

Anything else I can do to help?

The slogan will rotate every time you'll refresh a poal page.

Please post screenshots of pages where the pencil is missing.

This is typical to all subverses I visit now... Notice the missing pencil.

The CSS looks messed up (paddings and margins). Poal isn't supposed to look that way.
