When I have a comment reply and I am in that view, sometimes the number listed on the right is higher than the actual number. If I click the "comment replies" link on the right, that number changes. Right now I have one real reply and if I keep clicking on it the number rotates a few times. 1, 2 and 40.

To me it looks like a global array being reused before it gets cleared out.

Nothing to do with arrays, it's a caching issue.

We are already working on it.

It's an issue that is coming back as our traffic increases.

I can confirm. happened ever since the last inbox changes iirc. I had "1" notification hanging for over a week. Gladly our lord and savior is working on it.
