I noticed that I occasionally see a post on the ALL/new page that then doesn't work and gives a 404 error but when I reload the page, the link works.

I now found that this happens when a post is moved to a different sub either by the poster or an mod and the link changes but the overview page has the old link.

E.g. the link https://poal.co/s/Politics/251104 changed to https://poal.co/s/USPolitics/251104

I wonder if it would be possible either to change the 404 page to check for a moved post since the article id is the same or to have the live updates of the page also update the link when the post is moved.

its not a big issue because it works upon reloading

That's a know issue

Poal currently uses permalinks for sub names in URL, so when a post is moved, the subname remains the same in your browser, until you refresh the frontpage.

The only way to manage this (at the moment) is to refresh the page.
