I'll update if I manage to get it to go through.

Edit 1: It's not the slash, and putting spaces before the periods doesn't do anything either. I also tried copy/pasting it in and out of a text editor in case there was some weird unicode, but that didn't do anything.

Edit 2: Snipping off the second sentence allowed me to post, then editing and pasting it back in worked. I also refreshed the tab a few times to see if that was the problem (didn't do anything). No idea what was going on here.

I have no idea but maybe the '. It' in 'like. It looks' is getting picked up as a tld but I don't know why it would do that or why that one would be banned. Just throwing out a wild guess.

Test 2: Maybe it's only when I type like. It

Edit: Nope, that one's fine

I thought that too, but when I changed it to like . It it had no effect.

I also haven't noticed this happen on any other comments containing it (like this one).

In your Edit 2, when you said you left out the second sentence and got it to successfully post, just to be clear do you mean the "Any idea of the name?" sentence?

Sorry, yeah, I cut everything from "Any" onwards. Posted the first bit, then edited the rest back in.

This is a test of a comment followed by. It

Test 3: like.it

Edit: Not a banned domain apparently. This is perplexing.
