Bug report - Pending Deleted Comments Without a Trace...

I've recently come across several of my comments which have been deleted without any placeholder that there had been a comment. Oddly, I received notification of replies to my comments which I can still see in my inbox and view, yet if I go to the OP separately and scroll down the comments, my comments as well as the replies are completely missing.

Shouldn't there at least be a placeholder to show that a comment had been deleted?

For full transparency against censorship, it would be best if all deleted comments have a placeholder as well as information regarding who deleted it and why.

EDIT:

Specifically, you can see as of this writing there are 57 comments in post, but how many are visible?

That's weird... I normally sort by NEW and the comments weren't there. Switched to TOP and all the comments are revealed. Something must be going on with the sort option.

I don't see a problem with the link you posted. All the comments (deleted ones included) are showing up, no matter the way they are sorted.

After switching to any other sort and then back to new they would appear. I'm no sure why it was happening, but it only happened on new.

...yep still doing it. Original comment that I clicked on in my inbox is . New sort doesn't show them all.

Maybe it's the browser that I'm using?

Point me to a deleted comment (The link button should still be showing up).

I'm not sure why it happened or if this is a function of some sort, so I'm posting here.
