The number doesn't change but the arrow turns blue. I refresh the tab and the number is still the same and the arrow is white again. It only seems to affect certain posts though. I usually upvote everything I check out - now I keep reading the same thing twice!

lol It's up to you if you want to waste your time. Your votes will eventually all get cancelled by the algorithm.
