That do that to because they want to share content *to* ruqqus but not content *from* ruqqus. Same reason news sites make it very hard to rip video from them, you just can't right-click and save an mp4. Same reason I couldn't download and rehost a video from telegram yesterday without signing into a telegram account. The free and open internet is under threat by these assholes.
