So when I leave poal open for a while and continue browsing where I left it, the drop down pics take forever to load. I don't know if this is just because I left it open, and I haven't tested it fully but it's just something I noticed. It gets annoying cuz I like to browse all the content ever so I don't want to reload and lose my position, which will usually fix this.

I'll test it over the weekend and see how load times are affected the longer a page stays open.

Sounds like a caching issue with your browser. Try in incognito/private mode and report later.

Also you said it happens with all your devices. Are they all using the same browser?

I do use chrome on all of them, yes. They are not all on the same version, and one is on android, but it could still be a reason. I'll try incognito right now.

Well, we may have found the culprit.

Chrome is well known for consuming tons of ram and has several memory leak issues.

There are tons of reports and tutorial to supposedly "fix" these issues.

Search for "Chrome memory leak".

Ok I tried it on incognito.

I opened the front page and opened an image with expando. Took one second.

Came back 15 minutes later and tried to open another and it is still loading after 15 more minutes. I waited for 1 minute of loading before trying another image and it loaded fine, and so did others. I came back 15 minutes later and tried opening one more image and it was fine.

So it looks like the issue is with either the first image or images opened after waiting a while. only initially, and opened only soon after that first wait.

Very convoluted, I almost want to just disregard my post, but here's the info anyways.
