Does that encode directly to x264?

It looks like it can in the settings under "Output". I use Hardware (NVENC) for encoding.

Or did you have to re-encode the video you uploaded to vid8 before uploading?

Thanks, I got it downloaded and it looks good. Will give it a try next time I have to capture something! I like that is supports Linux and it is open. Not sure why I didn't know about this yet!
