After selecting an image the page just sits there and does nothing. I waited around ~2 minutes and still nothing. I have a traffic meter on my phone and can see that no data is being sent after an image is selected.

I don't have a way to "copy" on device images that I can find. I can however confirm that direct urls and pasting an image from the net works as expected. The upload button shows up immediately after adding a direct link or pasting an image.

If you go to your photo album or file explorer you can long press the image or its file and copy it to your phone's clipboard.
