NSFL Update New "NSFL" option/tag for posts.

Usage when you create a new post:

NSFL (Purple - public)

for content that could be perceived as disturbing/upsetting for some audience.

NSFW (Red - only viewable by level 6+)

for content inappropriate for viewing in public, such as real fight, violence, nudity, extremely graphic/gore, dead people...

The NSFW option in a post, under its title, will still be available in case you change your mind and want to turn a NSFL post you just submitted into a NSFW one.

The has been updated to reflect these changes.

Great! Though, are those descriptions backward? I would think NSFL (Not Safe For LIFE) would be for the horrible things no one should ever see, and NSFW (Not Safe For WORK) for mildly-disturbing or inapporpriate for a work environment/some social situations.

As you posted it, NSFL would be for mild stuff and NSFW for the horrible things.

You are correct, but the thing is NSFW has been here since day one, and the majority of the content tagged as such is not always NSFW. It has also been used to hide content from lurkers/scrappers (since you have to be level 6+ to see it).

It would take a lot of work to find and re-tag/classify what is NSFW and what is NSFL.

NSFL is more like something you'd like to share with the public, but also warn them about the possibility that the content might really disturb them.

According to the online definition of these terms:

NSFW (Not Safe for Work): Content that may be inappropriate for professional or public viewing due to potentially offensive material such as nudity, sexually explicit themes, violence, or strong language (lol).
NSFL (Not Safe for Life): Content that is considered highly disturbing, potentially causing psychological distress or trauma to those who view it.

I remember when you did this. I didn’t like it because I lurked. But the reasoning to hide benine shit was awesome. Made me love poal even more.

I know this would be extra work but if you select a regular post but then click on a sub to post to that is default "NSFW" can it auto-default to NSFW?

I know that means it would have to be dynamic based on the sub selected which probably adds extra processing but it would be nice.

It already works as expected if you are in a sub you intend to post to then go to create a new post, just not when you click the little icon to post then select link/text then while in the post select which sub to post to.

Before the update you never got a error because the post was auto NSFW but now you can get a error because you are posting to a NSFW only sub that you now have 3 options to try to post so the workflow breaks and you get a error.

Oh, I didn't look at all of the details but does this mean we can now set a sub to be SFW only, NSFW only and NSFL only?
