This one was inspired for and take care.
Boom and crash, light up the night
The crane and robin flee and hide.
Whistle and blow, pushing trees and grass
The squirrel and rabbit secure quickly, fast.
A storm, it's here.
Rain and hail, punish the earth
The rivers swell and consume the dirt.
Flowers and grains, bend and break
The prayer to God, for the harvest's sake.
The storm, it's here.
Roar and rumble, shake the house
The children they cry and the mother pouts.
Roof and beams feel their pain
They try to shelter whoever they may.
The storm, it's here.
Wind and blow, push around
The structures stand their ground.
Trees and buildings strain and crack,
The wonder if good times will ever come back.
The storm, it's here.
I know it will pass, tonight or next week,
Keep calm and continue on through its peak.
If it destroys with the power it wields,
I know in my heart, I must rebuild.
The storm, it's here
