Oh absalom, oh absolam! A diadem for babylon In my hand fair absalom, oh absalom, oh absalom

not albion, nor abalon jubilant the pseudo-khan. Turkman and aryian. pakistan and great ghangis khan

who crossed the ghangis, and vlads gate beheld by all emerald-like, exhult! the emirate! and harems, scented, with exotic flowers rich their kings, emperors their hours

all was earth their paradise, and powers But absalom they treasured most high above all else In the hanging gardens where erudite scholars scrawled of the alexandrian tower, inspired by her fall her grace jaundiced all eyes for the jealous prize the diadem for babylom. oh absalom, oh absalom!

And peasants and pharaohs wept to see her go. Now none the memory but her exultations All merchants, all kings, called her home, all nations. the bethlehem of carnal delights highest heaven, and abomination.

oh absalom, oh absalom. bedlam and dwelling place gemorahh and sodom.

ended in your shining hour no more to rise again but perhaps the spirit in the ages whir arise anew, named another exalting, immanentize the eschaton!

Borges is great. Argentine. Bit of a philosemite, but explored many different cultures. Labyrinths, enigmas, dreams, metaphysics.

Kubla khan of course, the spidery witch one - name escapes me.

Yeah, I'm 'retired'. Would always write poetry too. Some things you can accomplish only in any medium... Benadryl kicking in. Bout to fall out

Yeah, I'm 'retired'. Would always write poetry too.

Share some some time if you're comfortable.

Some things you can accomplish only in any medium...

See thats the fun of a medium though, trying to express what typically can only be expressed in one medium, in another thats not well adapted for it.

I keep on trying to capture a cloudy overcast day or one of those days where you get big bright fluffy white clouds in between big expanses of blue, you know the ones, at the very beginning of the hot part of spring, when occasionally you'll get a day thats not too cool and not too hot. Sitting under a tree or something, feeling the warmth of the sun, but its not so late in the season that the heat of the sun is unbearable when it breaks through. Still haven't, but one day.

Benadryl kicking in. Bout to fall out
