Power (power, wealth, willpower, or 'life') comes from good wealth based in work (fehu) not merely estate, which is a dead thing (opila) and all things built in it are dead, but of fehu, they arise again and again, eternally Wealth is built through family and household, unity (jehu) A house divided against itself cannot stand, but must be united at the basis of man and wife (jera). Man and wife are pulled apart by the strife of times and enemies who would divide them, but united by need (naudiz) of protection and defense (algiz) Whos presence to each other should be a gift (gebo) and a joy (wunjo), but whos focus returns to jera, and whos work (ehwaz) is about the house, the field, and the family. The wife chooses her man whos strength of character attracts her (mannaz) The young man being selfish and lazy, lives in the dark until, like lightening, his world is illuminated by the prospect of tomorrow (sowilo) and the wisdom of growing a little older. And having awoken, from the dark, and a new dawn on a new day, mannaz begins the work (fehu). And this is the wheel of life, that turning forever, stretching ever upward and outward, past the sky which no man can own, but by whos work and effort, may claim it for a time, the mantle of imperium (hagalaz), that all true men claim, and few may ever own, that which they know, they know in their bone, against the reckoning of lifes slings and arrows (raido) and the strivings of giants (purisaz).

Got two lines in my head that appeared the other day I can't reconstruct. Been scratching my brain for it. Came to me during a heated discussion with some friends.

All the time! I've lost better stuff than I'll ever be able to write or reconstruct.
