My mind is mush

my brains are numb.

I waste my energy in meetings that don't matter

Mumbling mundane milestones to managers.

For the money, for the monetary gain,

I need some to live in this society that's my bane.

In my dreams I can feel the freedom,

All my burdens lifted off my back and chest, there I can breathe again.

Alas, I wake each day once more,

Pull up the calendar, and tally the hours of meeting chores.

CAPEX, EBIDA, OPEX, KTLO, targeted markets

is it any wonder my heart aches?

It's what I do, because i know no other way,

So tonight I'll sleep, and tomorrow do the same.
