Once I was dead, then I was wasn’t so sad.
In my dream I lay, there I breathed my last.
When I was dead thought to reviewed my past.
In my dream I lie, dead in eternity so vast.
I saw myself dead, no heart beat and without breath.
In that dream I was embraced by sweet, sweet death.
I thought this status without doubt to be the best.
For I was dead, no hunger, no thirst.
For I was dead, no mourning, no mirth.
There I was dead. Though it was a dream.
To be dead, oh what a great thing!
The shame came when I awoke heart beating, alive.
The feeling of despair following a need to survive.
But I was dead! why take it I must know why?!
To be dead had such life implied.
